DMGT -2024
I have completed my final project presentation titled "Reimagining the Clothing Experience for Adults with Autism," in which I effectively utilized the design thinking method for research.
The key findings are as follows:
- Individuals with autism tend to avoid in-person shopping experiences due to feeling overwhelmed by the abundance of clothing.
- They express a desire for a "quiet room" within a clothing store.
- Implementing designated "quiet hours" could also be beneficial not just for adults with autism but for adjacent populations.
The estimated cost for implementing the necessary store infrastructure is 2 million dollars. However, the projected breakeven point for this investment is less than two years.
